Proteção e Segurança em Áreas Infantis: Análise das praças da Regional Grande Centro, Vila Velha - ES

Abstract

The current scenario of contemporary cities reflects, in a chaotic way, the neglect of the population and of the rulers, in general, towards the free spaces of public use. With this, one can see the need of urban planning in the generation and creation of spaces that are more welcoming and inviting for adults, but especially for children. This article aims at analyzing, portraying, substantiating and evidencing, justifying the conditions of protection and safety in the spaces destined for children within the Regional Administrative I places, in the municipality of Vila Velha - ES. The work is constituted after contextualization of the subject, bibliographical surveys and the creation of indicators that, together with the adaptation of the ITDP Brasil (2018) "Toolability Index" tool (iCam) and addition of parameters that justify the theme, supported the results presented in the survey. Finally, it is understood the indispensability of creating spaces that stimulate urban living and coexistence, making the environment even more integrated, of quality and stimulating the interrelations between citizens and the city itself, thus enhancing urban living.
