| dc.description | O atual cenário das cidades contemporâneas reflete o descaso em relação aos espaços livres de uso público, em especial os espaços para brincar na cidade. Na busca por cidades mais inclusivas é apropriado considerar, no planejamento urbano, espaços seguros e acolhedores para as crianças, potencializando, assim, a vivência urbana. O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise reflexiva das condições de proteção e segurança dos espaços livres para práticas sociais, com foco nos espaços para brincar da Regional Grande Centro, do município de Vila Velha – ES. A partir da contextualização do tema, por meio de levantamento documental e bibliográfico, foram definidos indicadores baseados na ferramenta Índice de Caminhabilidade (iCam), os quais foram organizados em 4 categorias, respectivamente: Proteção e Segurança; Conforto e Imagem; Acessos e Conexões; e Sociabilidade, Usos e Atividades. Este artigo apresenta a avaliação correspondente à categoria “Proteção e Segurança”, a qual verifica a situação das praças da Regional I em relação a segurança viária, segurança pública e proteção física dos espaços infantis. Os resultados obtidos auxiliam no melhor entendimento da seguridade pública desses espaços, bem como auxilia na elaboração de diretrizes e tomadas de decisões, contribuindo para espaços livres mais atraentes e seguros, que também atenda ao público infantil. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract | The current scenario of contemporary cities reflects, in a chaotic way, the neglect of the population and of the rulers, in general, towards the free spaces of public use. With this, one can see the need of urban planning in the generation and creation of spaces that are more welcoming and inviting for adults, but especially for children. This article aims at analyzing, portraying, substantiating and evidencing, justifying the conditions of protection and safety in the spaces destined for children within the Regional Administrative I places, in the municipality of Vila Velha - ES. The work is constituted after contextualization of the subject, bibliographical surveys and the creation of indicators that, together with the adaptation of the ITDP Brasil (2018) "Toolability Index" tool (iCam) and addition of parameters that justify the theme, supported the results presented in the survey. Finally, it is understood the indispensability of creating spaces that stimulate urban living and coexistence, making the environment even more integrated, of quality and stimulating the interrelations between citizens and the city itself, thus enhancing urban living. | pt_BR |
