Abstract
This document discusses the teaching role within new epistemological possibilities of architecture and urbanism in contemporary times, articulating concepts that dialogue with other reflective possibilities of this professional's own craft. In order to do so, a debate about architecture and urbanism is presented first from the perspective of spatial dialectic and urban critical theory. Secondly, alternative possibilities on teaching practice in combating the homogenizing dynamics of modernity are presented. This brief article does not seek to exhaust a theme, but mainly to broaden a field of debate about teaching possibilities from an epistemological discussion of architecture and urbanism in the classroom
