The drawing is inserted as a fundamental tool for disciplines of the Architecture course, especially regarding the graphic representation of solutions and architectural problems. In this way he is in the structural, introductory and general character of disciplines such as Architectural Design. The study design is of paramount importance, in order to combine the thought contributing to the exercise of representing graphically to add in the project act.It is a cognitive act, and the practice of it, makes the thought sharpen, faster, and the sense of observation, facilitates creation. It is a repetitive act that provides a diversity of possibility of thinking of the cognition of drawing. This text presents a first year project exercise of the Architecture and Urbanism Course of the University Center Curitiba - Unicuritiba, in which drawings and volume manipulation consist of the work method, creativity and knowledge construction.
