Abstract
This work aims to discuss the educational possibilities inherent to spaces, regardless of whether they are being used by programs of needs linked to educational objectives. The changes brought about by the process of globalization are demanding a new organization for the system of education that is nowadays school, family and church incompatible with the "knowledge society". Entities like UNESCO, consider that the urban space and the city can help in the resolution of this question. Thus, accelerated urbanization and spatial production could assume many new roles, as it has already assumed to solve the crises of capital, taking care of the quality of the urban environment. The methodological procedures started from different conceptions of spaces, unfolded in materiality and language, comparing them with theoretical propositions of architecture, evidencing in some images, certain potentially educative spatial characteristics
