O Trajeto até a Universidade – Percepção dos alunos e a condição de vulnerabilidade da mulher na cidade

Abstract

The present article was developed as an exercise to apply methods and theories of environmental perception. Through a bibliographical review, recurrent themes were identified in the discussion about the condition of differentiated vulnerability to which women are subjected in urban space. This is an urgent discussion, requiring the development of researches that reveal how power relations materialize in the way of making a city. Based on the findings of the theory investigation, a questionnaire was created on the relation of the users in the daily routes to the university. Students from the University of Pelotas answered the interview and it can be verified that most of them identify the unequal possibilities of appropriation of the city and that this conditions their urban experience
