The Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is a construction system that has been gaining prominence in civil construction in recent years due to sustainability issues since this system uses plantation lumber as raw material. The promotion of the CLT arouses the interest and concern of designers, engineers and architects regarding the product standardization and research needs on the subject, including connections to CLT panels. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss some of the CLT connections, tested and developed between 2007 -2017. The research also consists of the understanding of the methods used in tests, the test types, the dimensions of the specimens and the standards. For this, a literature review was performed and authors with greater influence in this area are chosen. Special attention is driven to the methods and norms chosen in each research. Finally, the research shows the weak points of such connections in this review.
