A manifestação do desejo na obra aberta: o caso Quinta Monroy de Alejandro Aravena
Abstract
Architect Alejandro Aravena, curator of the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture and owner of a holistic vision, specialized in the design of housing units with the possibility of expansion to meet the housing demand in Chile. Through the graphic analysis of the housing Quinta Monroy, this research has as its intention to identify the areas to be completed by the residents in the project, to verify the relation between the designed by the architect and the areas to be completed and the relation between the common and private areas. Critical interpretations will be made about the forms of occupation of the building over time by residents, verifying the interest of its character as an unfinished and open work and looking for new architectural possibilities.
