O Projeto do Centro Novo analisado a partir dos conceitos da Conservação Integrada

Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the Centro Novo project, developed by the Jaime Lerner Architects Associated office at the request of the Housing Union (SECOVI-SP) and presented to the Municipality of São Paulo during the administration of the mayor João Dória. The reading that is sought will be done seeking to understand its main proposals for intervention, drawing the territory, reading the existing urban context and its pretensions towards the development of the central region of São Paulo. All research will be supported by the concepts of integrated urban conservation (IC), aiming to understand if the Centro Novo project was concerned with bringing such premises into its elaboration.
