Museu Paisagem: possibilidade de relação entre paisagem e arte

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the museum type called Landscape Museum and its ability to provoke a fertile relationship between art and landscape. To this, the work first understands how the relationship between landscape and art is structured throughout the history of art until it reaches the artistic current where such interaction reaches its maximum position in Contemporary Landscape Art. Then, it discusses how the exhibition spaces were adapted to cover such relationship. And finally, in order to draw a parallel between the international and Brazilian reality on the subject, it is indicated that a new museological paradigm is asserting itself with the possibility of revealing the potential of landscape as a structuring element of the built space.
