Abstract

This paper presents the process of conception, elaboration and execution of the design contest for hydraulic tiles, in order to reconcile areas related to the architectural practice, being these the historical cultural question to contemporary techniques. The tiles were explored as a theme to look at the architectural spaces, highlighting their identity and revive the relationship between users and environments. In addition to favoring an opportunity for creative expression through the simple design of floors and their compositions. The event is part of the project titled 'MaisPortfólio', registered at the Extension Office of the Federal University of Piauí. Having social integration as one of the main mottoes, but highlighting the technical issues of professional practices, presented here as essential to reach the public
