A investigação em arquitetura a partir de análises gráficas: um ensaio de revisão sistemática

Abstract

This study aims to understand how analytical methods by means of graphic tracings have contributed to the construction of knowledge about architectural design processes. It is characterized as a systematic review essay, directed at this time to a specific periodical of the area of architectural representation. After selection of articles that explicit, basing on pictures, the graphic tracing on architectural representations, follow the identification of the types of problems, technologies and theories on studied tracing techniques. With this, it is sought to understand the types of structures of knowledge involved, in terms of Yves Chevallard's Theory of Transposition. Partial results are recorded, which already help to explain some architectural problems, such as the elucidation of differences in the construction of different periods, both by differences in metric logics and by formal organizations. These results, from a didactic perspective, already support the illustration of cases that justify the investments in traditional knowledge elements of geometry, in concepts and procedures, as well as in current means of representation, because they are attributing scientificity in the application of the study method.
