Reinterpretación del paisaje a partir del espacio hodológico en Lazareto: conflictos y posibilidades de los caminos. PROJETAR 2019
Abstract
Lazareto, a community located on the Biological Reserve of Sama Mountain range in Tarija, city of Bolivia, has an intimate collective memory for the events marked in history that are summarized today in the experience of faith and devotion of hundreds of pilgrims to the springs of pure, fresh and healing water. Although the place has magic, it still does not have a recognition of the landscape, the popular heritage of traditional festivals make a difficult mark to erase in the social imaginary, but which is currently threatened by urban conflicts. The problem occurs with an inadvertent "artificial identity" that is introduced in the middle of the natural landscape. The discussion revolves around the interpretation of the landscape's hodological space, which should not be perceived as a static and linear fact, but rather should be related to the thresholds and places of transition, a scenario conducive to the exercise of the Real Laboratory as a project of College extension. The purpose of this case study is to mark the characteristic elements to determine what that site is and what it could be, to understand the possibilities of the detention phenomenon in a place that is rarely noticed in its real dimension, essence and character, because when man understands his relationship with nature, he internalizes the meaning of space and rediscovers his spirit, so that the place can be defined as a place of identity, of history with a pure perception to which culture and experience are added to limit.
