Projeto urbano e escala local: Relato de projetos realizados no curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo

Abstract

This paper discusses urban design at the local scale from the analysis of projects carried out in the Local Urban Intervention course of the UniFanor Wyden Architecture and Urbanism course in 2019. The aim of this paper is to reflect on the importance of studying planning methodologies. and urban design in the subjects of the Architecture and Urbanism course. To achieve this goal, a bibliographic survey on urban planning methodology, ephemeral interventions and participation was first conducted. And then we analyzed six student works that consist of urban intervention projects for neighborhoods of Fortaleza - CE. The analysis of the works allows a reflection on the teaching of urban design and its methodologies, besides highlighting the importance of the design studio for the professional formation of the architect and urban planner.
