Preço ou apreço: o valor da paisagem

Abstract

This article presents the analysis of the concepts that surround the urban park and the influence that it exerts on the quality of life of the population and the city. With the urbanization process, many municipalities grew up without the necessary concern with the leisure areas as being one of the main components for the formation of the landscape, a tool that improves the quality of life of the inhabitants. The objective of this study is to show the benefits generated by the implantation of urban green areas and how much the landscape values its surroundings, showing the increase in real estate speculation and the justification of people being willing to pay more to be close to these areas. The method is based on bibliographic research, interviews and case study. It is hoped to contribute to future studies of urbanization from green areas, and to understand why the landscape needs to have value so that it can be appreciated and not be a right of all inhabitants of the municipality equally.
