Documentário e leituras urbanas: notas sobre o 15M

Abstract

This article discusses the inclusion of transdisciplinary methodologies in the Architecture and Urbanism field for the development of urban readings. Through practices related mainly to the audiovisual and visual anthropology fields, it seeks to discuss new articulation forms of making documentary films that contribute to the complexity of this vision. In this sense, it suggests forms of horizontal organization in collaborative processes of documentary production based on scripts produced collectively by its participants. It presents the case of the film "15M Lenguajes", developed by researchers of the Nomads.usp, that deals with popular manifestations against governmental attitudes, involving several social actors in the city of São Carlos, SP, and explores audiovisual resources in the construction of narratives about urban dynamics.
