| dc.description.abstract | RESUMO A adaptação de novas funções a edificações antigas é cada vez mais freqüentes no âmbito da arquitetura. É inegável que uma das atividades que mais se prolifera entre os arquitetos é a intervenção de interiores e de fachadas, principalmente na área comercial. Dessa forma, o bairro Moinhos de Vento tornase uma experiência sensitiva da aplicação de estratégias diversificadas de reabilitação de tais edifícios. A revitalização e a reciclagem permitem a preservação de prédios de real valor arquitetônico deixando de ser apenas construções obsoletas em meio à paisagem urbana. Percebe-se que estas intervenções se manifestam de duas maneiras no bairro: por um lado propõe-se a adequação do interior a um corpo antigo, mantendo sua estrutura original e a filiação simbólica/espacial; e, por outro lado, há uma busca por uma imagem de contemporaneidade e despojamento formal, na qual muitos arquitetos optam por um outro caminho, que não mantém um vínculo com a história e a tipologia do prédio antigo, originando uma nova forma e nova função. Nesse sentido, esta investigação projeta um olhar crítico sobre as estratégias de intervenção aplicadas nas edificações do restaurante Orquestra de Panelas e da loja Dellanno, no bairro Moinhos de Vento, em Porto Alegre. ABSTRACT The adaptation of new functions to old buildings is increasing more and more in the field of architecture. It´s undeniable that one of the most activities that grows among the architects is the inside(interior) and outside(façades) interventions, specially in commercial field. In this way, the Moinhos de Vento’s district becomes a sensitive experience to the applications of many strategies envolving building’s rehabilitation. The revitalization and recycling allow the preservation of the buildings that have a real architectural value, leaving of being just obsolete constructions in the urban landscape. This interventions can be expressed in two ways: one proposes the inside adequation in an old body, keeping the original structure and symbolic/spacial relationship; and, in the other hand, there´s a search for a contemporary image and a formal loot, in which many architects choose another way, that doesn´t maintain the link with the building’s history and tipology, creating a new form and a new function. Therefore, this investigation projects a critical point of view about the interventions strategies applied in the constructions of the restaurant “Orquestra de Panelas” and the store “Dellanno”, at Moinhos de Vento’s district, in Porto Alegre. | pt_BR |
