| dc.description.abstract | RESUMO Projetar adaptando edificações pré-existentes a novos usos sempre esteve entre as atribuições do profissional arquiteto. Atualmente assume grande importância devido à crescente demanda por tais projetos, principalmente nos centros das cidades. Nesse contexto, a cidade de Pelotas destaca-se por possuir um acervo de edificações com grande potencial para esse tipo de intervenção e que têm sido reutilizadas através de projetos que expressam diferentes abordagens frente ao patrimônio edificado. O presente trabalho demonstra parte das análises feitas sobre sete projetos dessa natureza, localizados na área central de Pelotas, de modo a ampliar o universo da reflexão sobre as diferentes abordagens que os arquitetos tiveram frente às necessidades específicas de cada pré-existência e sobre os resultados alcançados. Para tal objetivo, utilizou-se de métodos de descrição e análise obtidos a partir de revisão de literatura, no âmbito da concepção arquitetural. Os arquitetos responsáveis por projetos de reutilização foram entrevistados e a concepção de cada projeto foi analisada segundo as categorias idéia, uso, percepção, sistema e discurso, as quais apresentaram diferentes influências em cada caso estudado. A pesquisa demonstrou que há diferentes possibilidades de intervenção capazes de fornecer orientação sobre métodos de projeto para o profissional incumbido de reutilizar ou recuperar edificações pré-existentes, reinserindo-as na contemporaneidade. ABSTRACT Projecting and adapting buildings for new uses was always among the attributions of the professional architect. Currently, it assumes great importance due to increasing demand for such projects, mainly in the centers of the cities. In this context, the city of Pelotas is distinguished for possessing a quantity of buildings with great potential for this type of intervention and they have been reused through projects that express different positions about the built patrimony. The present work demonstrates part of the analyses made on seven projects of this nature, located in the central area of Pelotas, in order to extend the universe of the reflection on the different positions of the architects when they have treat with the specific necessities of each pre-existence and on the reached results by them. For such objective, we used methods of description and analysis gotten from literature revision, in the scope of the architectural conception. The architects that made reusing projects had been interviewed and the conception of each project was analyzed according to categories idea, use, perception, system and speech, which had presented different influences in each studied case. The research demonstrated that there are different possibilities of intervention capable to supply orientation about project methods for the professionals which have to reuse or to recoup preexisting buildings. | pt_BR |
