| dc.description.abstract | RESUMO O presente trabalho busca tomar como estudo os prédios sob tutela e propriedade do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, como corpos atuante na requalificação do espaço urbano da Praça XV de Novembro no centro do Rio de Janeiro. Lembrando que a Praça XV é alvo constante de estudos e propostas municipais, estaduais e federais na expectativa de dotá-la com melhores usos. A última intervenção significativa, empreendida pela prefeitura, buscou revitalizar o espaço urbano, com a criação de uma praça em torno da Estação das Barcas Rio-Niterói, desviando o fluxo de carros e ônibus para um acesso subterrâneo. Também foram restaurados o Chafariz de Mestre Valentim e o cais por onde atracavam as embarcações no período colonial. Atualmente a região vem passando por uma nova intervenção na qual a atuação do TJERJ tem sido fundamental. O prédio da Conab, uma composição de cunho eclético-acadêmico mais afeito ao Art-Decó, atualmente está sob tutela do TJERJ, que ali implanta o seu Centro Administrativo. Além do prédio da Conab, o prédio do antigo Tribunal de Alçada Criminal, uma construção de 1926 de composição Eclética, pertencente ao poder judiciário do Estado, também será restaurado. A recuperação e revitalização do espaço urbano em torno serão viabilizadas com a construção de uma grande praça que visa integrar toda a região. Tal intervenção garantirá não apenas uma integração dos prédios do judiciário, mas também promoverá uma requalificação do espaço urbano. Comprovando assim mais uma vez que ações que visam a princípio restaurar o patrimônio construído contribuem para a revitalização de áreas já degradadas e que estas restaurações não precisam obrigatoriamente estar relacionadas a centros culturais ou comerciais e sim a usos efetivos que garantam a vivência dos espaços. ABSTRACT The present work seeks to undertake the study of buildings that are guarded and owned by the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro, as active corps in the improvement of the urban space of the Praça XV de Novembro in the center of Rio de Janeiro. Keeping in mind that the Praça XV is a constant topic of studies and proposals from local, state and federal authorities, with the expectation of putting it to better usage. The last significant intervention, undertaken by the town hall, tried to revitalize the urban space, with the creation of a square around the Fairy Station Rio-Niterói, redirecting the traffic to an underground passage. The Fountain of Mestre Valentim and the platform where vessels used to embark in the colonial period were also restored. Currently the region has been going through a new intervention in which the participation of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro has been fundamental. The building of Conab, a composition of eclectic-academic nature more accustomed to Art-Decó, is currently guarded by the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro, where their Administrative Center is located. In addition to the building where the Administrative Center is located, the building of the old Court of Criminal Appeals, a construction from 1926 of Eclectic composition, which belongs to the judiciary power of the State, will also be restored. The recovery and revival of the urban space around it will be made possible with the construction of a big square which targets the integration of the whole area. Such intervention will guarantee not only the integration of judiciary buildings, but will also promote a requalification of the urban space. This proves once again that actions that aim at restoring the heritage contribute to the revival of degraded areas and that these refurbishments do not necessarily need to be related to cultural nor commercial centers, but to effective usage that guarantee the existence of the space. | pt_BR |
