| dc.description.abstract | RESUMO Ao projetar uma reutilização, o arquiteto põe-se frente a algumas questões, dentre várias outras, pertinentes à reflexão proposta pelo presente trabalho: Como abordar a troca de materiais ou como justapor ou sobrepor novas técnicas construtivas, às pré-existentes? O novo ciclo que pretende se dar à edificação também deve ser marcado pela presença de novos materiais e técnicas construtivas contemporâneas? O artigo, apresentado como requisito da Disciplina de Idéia, Método e Linguagem, ministrada pela professora Sônia Afonso durante o 1° trimestre de 2006, demonstra como tais questões têm sido tratadas em projetos de reutilização, com o objetivo de reconhecer diferentes possibilidades de uso dos materiais de construção como linguagem, demonstrando sua importância para o processo de projeto arquitetônico. O trabalho procura uma aproximação com alguns conceitos de teorias dos signos, através das qual pretendeu-se esboçar respostas para as seguintes questões: Existe uma linguagem dos materiais aplicada aos projetos de reutilização? Qual a importância que tal linguagem pode assumir? A linguagem dos materiais em um projeto de reutilização se relaciona com uma tentativa de identificação das partes (materiais de construção) como componentes de uma linguagem própria capaz de gerar, a partir do tratamento dado a elas, um resultado diferenciado no todo final. Assume-se que durante o processo de projeto, a linguagem a ser empregada impõe ao arquiteto a escolha de materiais iguais, semelhantes ou diferentes dos existentes na edificação original e aqui se encontra a necessidade de escolha do caminho a seguir. Entende-se que, através da linguagem dos materiais empregados, o arquiteto pode optar por uma postura de projeto que distingue partes diferenciadas e identificáveis ou que tornem imperceptíveis as intervenções realizadas na pré-existência e o artigo procura propor reflexões acerca de tal tema. The new cycle of the building must be marked by the presence of new materials and by contemporaneous constructive techniques? The article, presented as requisite in the topic module of Idea, Method and Language taught by Dra. Sônia Afonso during 1° trimester of 2006, demonstrates as such questions have been treated in reusing projects with the objective of recognizing different possibilities of use of the construction materials as a language also demonstrating its importance for the architectural project process. The work looks for an approach with some concepts of theories of signs, through which was intended to answer the following questions: Is there a language of construction materials applied in reusing projects? What is the importance that this language can have? The language of the materials in reusing project is related with an attempt of identification of the parts (material of construction) as components of a proper language which, according to the treatment they have, is capable to generate different results in the final completed object. It is assumed that during the project process, the language imposes to the architect some choices of the same materials, similar or different of the existing ones in the original building and he has the necessity of choosing the way to follow. Through the language of materials, the architect can choose a project position that distinguishes different and identifiable parts or one in which the interventions are imperceptible and the article proposes some reflections concerning such subject. | pt_BR |
