| dc.description.abstract | A investigação da satisfação dos usuários com o ambiente construído exige a análise de suas relações com o local (cômodo, edifício, bairro) em função do background (experiência social, educacional, cultural) de cada pessoa. Isso envolve o conhecimento de conceitos ligados ao comportamento sócioespacial humano (apropriação, aglomeração, privacidade, etc) e de métodos/técnicas de trabalho específicos (como, entre outros, a análise de behavior settings), que influenciam a construção das pesquisas (objetivos, método, instrumentos) e a interpretação dos resultados em função de: (i) tipo de experiência vivenciada (do conhecimento íntimo até perspectiva teórica) e (ii) mudança no entendimento do espaço pela pessoa ou grupo devido à ocasião ou ao tempo decorrido. Ilustra-se tal perspectiva com trabalhos realizados na UFRN, apontando possibilidades para novas pesquisas. ABSTRACT: The investigation of the users’ satisfaction with the built environment requires the analysis of their relationship with the place (rooms, building, neighborhood) according to the background (social, educational, cultural experiences) of each person. It involves the knowledge of concepts related to socio-spacial human behavior (ownership, agglomeration, privacy, etc.) and specific work methods/techniques (such as the analysis of behavior settings). Both of these conditions influence the research’s construction (objectives, methods, instruments) and the interpretation of its results in terms of: (i) type of experience (from intimate knowledge to theoretical perspective), and (ii) change in the understanding of the area by the person or group because of the situation or time elapsed. These ideas are illustrated by works done in UFRN, and it points possibilities for further research. | pt_BR |
