| dc.description | O presente artigo é parte integrante de pesquisa intitulada “Identificação de áreas de convívio público e áreas verdes do município de Vitória (ES)”, desenvolvida pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES) em parceria com o grupo “Paisagem Urbana e Inclusão” da Universidade Vila Velha (UVV). Este estudo qualifica as praças da Regional 9 – Jardim da Penha e da Regional 6 – Goiabeiras, Vitória (ES), tendo como base indicadores de qualidade selecionados e adaptados do Índice de Caminhabilidade (iCam). Os indicadores foram organizados em 4 categorias para aplicação em praças, são elas: Proteção e Segurança; Conforto e Imagem; Acessos e Conexões; e Sociabilidade, Usos e Atividades. As categorias foram subdivididas em 11 atributos e 34 indicadores, com parâmetros de classificação de 0 a 3, “insuficiente” a “ótimo”. Este artigo discorre sobre a categoria Acessos e Conexões, responsável por avaliar a infraestrutura e a permeabilidade urbana, aplicando a metodologia na Regional 9 – Jardim da Penha e comparando os resultados com os da Regional 6 – Goiabeiras. Com 6 indicadores, a categoria Acessos e Conexões é subdividida em 2 atributos: Mobilidade; e Calçada e Pavimentação. Paralelamente, a partir do Sistema Informativo Geográfico (SIG) no software ArcGis® e da base de dados da Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória foram mapeados os espaços livres e elaborados mapas e figuras utilizando imagens de satélite. As praças das duas regionais obtiveram resultados entre “bom” e “suficiente” na análise por categoria e por atributo, entretanto, o atributo “Mobilidade” foi o que obteve menor pontuação em todas as praças. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper is a part of a research project entitled "Identification of public living areas and green areas of the city of Vitória (ES)", developed by students of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) in partnership with the group "Urban Landscape and Inclusion" of the Vila Velha University (UVV). This study qualifies the squares of Regional 9 - Jardim da Penha and Regional 6 - Goiabeiras, Vitória-ES, based on quality indicators selected and adapted from the Walkability Index (iCam). The indicators were organized in 4 categories for application in squares, they are: Protection and Security; Comfort and Image; Access and Connections; and Sociability Uses and Activities. The categories were subdivided into 11 attributes and 34 indicators, with classification parameters from 0 to 3, "insufficient" to "optimum". This article deals with the category of Access and Connections, responsible for evaluating urban infrastructure and permeability, applying the methodology in Regional 9 - Jardim da Penha and comparing the results with those of Regional 6 - Goiabeiras. With 6 indicators, the Access and Connections category is subdivided into 2 attributes: Mobility; and Sidewalk and Paving. In parallel, from the Geographic Information System (GIS) and the data base of the City of Vitória were mapped the free spaces and elaborated maps and figures using satellite images. The squares of the two regional ones obtained results between "good" and "sufficient" in the analysis by category and by attribute, however, the attribute "Mobility" was the one that obtained lower score in all the squares. | pt_BR |
